ATTENTION:  The Detroit Womenís Rugby Football Club Seeks Coaching Staff!

The Detroit Womenís Rugby Football Club (DWRFC) is seeking applications for a Coaching Staff of their 15s program; both the Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions are currently needed.  Ideal candidates must have previous experience; at minimum, previous Collegiate or Club level coaching in either a Menís or Womenís program.  Candidates for both positions must have the ability to commit to attending weekly practices and games.  The Coaching Staff would be responsible for designing and executing weekly practices as well as developing players' skills and team tactics.

The Detroit Womenís Rugby Club was established in 1999 and won the Division II title as National Champions in 2003, 2004, and 2007, and came in 2nd place in 2005 and 2008.  After being successful competing in Division II, as of Fall 2009, the DWRFC moved up to and continues to contend at the Division I level.  Practice is held at our home pitch located right off of 8 Mile Road on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.  The DWRFC is comprised of Rugby players of all levels that enjoy being challenged and want to continue to work hard towards attaining the same success in Division I as seen in Division II in years past.

All interested candidates in either the Head Coach or Assistant Coach positions are encouraged to forward his/her resume to:

Sherrie Ingham, 586-484-1005
