CHICAGO, IL,
January 7th, 2005:
American Rugby Outfitters (ARO), and the Midwest Rugby
Football Union (MWRFU), aka: Midwest Rugby Union, and Midwest Rugby Territorial
Union, have reached agreement on a new three year sponsorship.
American
Rugby Outfitters CEO, Curt Hacker, announced the signing of a comprehensive
apparel, and
equipment
sponsorship contract, with the MWRFU, after the signing took place with Midwest
Treasurer Chris Schreel, at the Midwest AGM.
"We spent a lot of time going over the details, and making sure the right
components were in place to continue this long standing mutually beneficial
agreement," Hacker said. The MWRFU has its own specific needs, culture,
and history, that both parties wanted to make sure were addressed accordingly.
ARO will use
its resources to help defray some of the Union's costs for outfitting
their Thunderbird Select Sides, and help with a strategy to further develop the
identity of the MWRFU's licensed 'Thunderbird Rugby' mark/logo.
"We are very
happy to have this agreement finalized, and to be associated with ARO," said
Shawn McKinney, the Midwest's Promotional Director.
ARO, the
leader in the Rugby Team outfitting business, is excited about the opportunities
that lie ahead, with current, and new MWRFU members as they enter their 21st
year of business. For more information, or to see their complete line of
