Below is all the information in determining how Teams qualified for one of the 8 seeds in the Sevens Series Championship Tournament, and above is the table on which Teams have entered a Sevens Series, finished in 4th place, or higher, and the points each Team has earned toward being considered for the Midwest Sevens Series Championship Tournament.

Sevens Series Points:

A minimum of 5 Teams must be entered in a Sevens Seriess Tournament in order to be a Midwest Sevens Series Tournament:

1st Place = 6 points;  2nd Place = 4 points;  3rd Place = 2 points;  4th Place = 1 point

Legend for Point Totals table above:

The table only includes the number of Tournaments in which a Team finished in 4th place or above, i.e., it does not include any Tournament in which a Team finished 5th place or less, unless one Team, or more, finished in the top 4 and is NOT a Team taking part in the Sevens Series, which are usually Teams not in the Midwest Territory.  If that takes place then each Team that has declared themselves in the Sevens Series will move up in the Sevens Series Standings, i.e., Kansas City placed 3rd in the Iowa 7s Tournament, a Sevens Series Tournament, the Chicago Griffins placed 4th, and Bremer County place 5th . . . due to the fact that Kansas City isn't taking part in the Sevens Series the Chicago Griffins and Bremer County each move up one place, i.e., the Griffins move to 3rd place and Bremer County moves to 4th place.  If a Team entered a Tournament that was not a Sevens Series Tournament no points are awarded since the Tournament was not one of the Sevens Series Tournaments.
