The Tournament: The Tournament was started in 2001 to honor and remember Dianna Orsini, the wife of a member of the Highlander Rugby Club . . . she passed away from Cancer. Since that time the Tournament has raised approximately SIXTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($65,000.00). The TACKLE CANCER 10s RUGBY TOURNAMENT is aiming to battle and beat breast Cancer, the second leading cause of death in women. In Pennsylvania twenty-one hunred (2,100) women were expected to die from breast Cancer in 2005. Fighting with ferocity and tenacity is necessary to win the battle. Support the Tournament on the 16th of August, and help to make the Tournament a success on behalf of a worthy charity, GILDA'S CLUB. |
