Total number of Summer Series Tournaments was 7, with only five 1st Place and five 4th Place totals due to two Teams being declared

ineligible, with no Teams moving up to fill those Places.  There would have been six 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Place finish positions if all had gone

well, with the seventh Tournament exception being the Lakefront 7s not being able to finish due to weather . . . see the astericks (*) above.

Below is all the information in determining how Teams qualified for one of the 8 seeds in the Sevens Series Championship Tournament, and above is the table on which Teams have entered a Sevens Series, finished in 4th place, or higher, and the points each Team has earned toward being considered for the Midwest Sevens Series Championship Tournament.

Sevens Series Points:

A minimum of 5 Teams must be entered in a Sevens Seriess Tournament in order to be a Midwest Sevens Series Tournament:

1st Place = 6 points;  2nd Place = 4 points;  3rd Place = 2 points;  4th Place = 1 point

Legend for table above:

The table only includes the number of Tournaments in which a Team finished in 4th place or above, i.e., it does not include any Tournament in which a Team finished 5th place or less, or if a Team entered a Tournament that was not a Sevens Series Tournament.
