Club Check-In Schedule:

Across the street under the picnic shelter in the back yard we will be checking the teams in.  5 minutes before your check in time, please have teams lined up in alphabetical order by last name, with their photo IDs and insurance cards ready, or in a binder in the same order, along with the USA Rugby Collegiate Player Eligibility Form signed and stamped by the school bursar; IMPORTANT - if this form is not filled out completely or signed and stamped by the school bursar your team will not be allowed to compete.

Overtime Rules:

2 - 10 min OT periods, play through both periods like a separate game (coin flip, switch halves)

Still tied?  Play 5 minute SUDDEN DEATH periods.

Start with a coin toss to see who does what at kick off.

Then flip goals every 5 minutes until you have a winner.

First score wins.

Parking:

3 parking passes will be available per Club;  after that parking will be $5.00 per day per vehicle;  a 2 day pass will be available for $8.00.  Parking along the street is illegal and the vehicles will be towed.  Referees parking is free of charge.

Trainers:

We will have a Trainer available for each game.  They are not responsible to tape your athletes.  They are strictly there in case an injury occurs during warm-ups, and/or matches.

Hospital:

Mercy South Hospital - 3000 Mack Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014.  Turn left out of pitch, turn right on Richard Drive, at the end of Richard Drive turn right on St. Rt. 4 (north).  At the first light, turn left onto Ross Road (a Walgreens is on the corner).  Take Ross Road to the first light, turn right at the light onto Mack Road.  The hospital is down Mack Road on the right hand side. 

Water:

A water hose will be available across the street from the pitch, there is no running water at the pitch; please plan accordingly. 

Concessions:

A Concession Stand featuring beverages, fruit, energy drinks, and energy bars will be available.

Food and Entertainment:

Within walking distance from the hotel is Hooters, Whiskey Willie’s Roadhouse, Bargos Grill & Tap.  Within driving distance, along St. Rt. 4, several other national chains and fast food restaurants (north on Rt. 4 from the hotel towards the pitch there is an Olive Garden on the left).  Hooters and Whiskey Willie’s will be showing the UFC fight for free Saturday night.

Lodging:

Rooms reserved under “Midwest Tournament” at the Cincinnati North Hotel, 11911 Sheraton Lane, Cincinnati, OH 45246.  (513) 671-6600 $72.00 per night plus tax, 2 Queen beds.  At least 32 rooms reserved for Friday, 38 rooms reserved for Saturday.  Plenty of rooms are available, let the hotel know you are with the “Midwest Rugby” group to get the discounted rate.  Rooms must be reserved by Friday October 24^th, or they will be released to the public.  There is a Walmart, Biggs, and Meijer as well as several additional dining options 1 exit west (towards Indianapolis) from the hotel exit off of I-275.
